Introduction

Florida Clerks of Court and County Comptrollers collect millions of dollars on behalf of the State that must be distributed to various agencies. This online remittance system was developed in 2002 pursuant to legislation, which mandated that all funds be electronically remitted to the Department of Revenue for distribution to other state agencies.

Prior to 2002, each clerk or comptroller wrote a separate check to each state agency, several times each month. This system enables clerks and comptrollers to transfer funds for all state agencies in a single electronic transaction.

Through this system are remitted Documentary Stamp Tax, Class-C Intangible Tax, and over 100 different court-related fines and fees to 24 trust funds managed by over 20 state agencies.

Clerks must enroll for e-Services before they can use this remittance system.
