Masking SSN(s)
The first five digits of the SSN(s) of all employees displayed in the file and pay web application have been masked as an added protection.
Filing Dates
The Unemployment web site will accept the filing of quarterly reports beginning on the following dates:
- 3rd Quarter 2009 - beginning on 10-01-2009
- 4th Quarter 2009 - beginning on 01-01-2010
- 1st Quarter 2010 - beginning on 04-01-2010
- 2nd Quarter 2010 - beginning on 07-01-2010
2009 System Enhancements
Please be aware that several enhancements have been made to the Unemployment web site.
- The 1st, 2nd and 3rd month numbers will no longer be compared with the total number of reported employees for that quarter.
- Employers can only submit one (1) quarter per day. Agents, transmitters, or software vendors submitting on behalf of their clients can only submit (1) quarter per day per employer.
Please notify your software users that Florida will be validating state assigned account numbers and federal employer identification number to ensure filing accuracy. In the event there is a mismatch, filing submissions will be rejected.

- Due to Legislative changes, the taxable wage base of $7000 paid to each employee during the calendar year will increase to $8500 starting the 1st Quarter of 2010.
