  1. Which tax returns can be filed using the Internet filing method

    • Sales and Use Tax Returns(Forms DR-15 and DR-15EZ)
    • Sales and Use Tax Returns for consolidated filers (Forms DR-15CON and DR-7)
    • Solid Waste and Surcharge Returns (Form DR-15SW)
    • Solid Waste and Surcharge Returns for consolidated filers (Form DR-15SWS)
    • Corporate Income Tax Short Form Returns (Form F-1120A)
    • Unemployment Tax, Employers Quarterly Report (Form UCT-6)

  2. What other e-Services are provided on DOR's Internet site

    • Enrollment/Authorization for e-Services - enroll in electronic filing and electronic funds transfer
    • Online Tax Registration System - apply to collect and/or report tax in Florida (DR-1)

  3. What are the benefits of DOR Internet filing

    Filing your return electronically benefits both you and the Department of Revenue. Electronic filing is:

    • Free:
      • You need only Internet access.
    • Convenient:
      • Provides access for filing returns and paying tax 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
      • Eliminates postage expense - you no longer need to mail in a paper return
      • Allows you to file and pay at the same time - no need to call in a separate EFT payment
    • Fast:
      • Ensures timely and accurate posting of information to your account
      • Provides confirmation that your tax return and/or payment was accepted
      • Reduces processing time for fuel tax refunds
    • Accurate:
      • Verifies calculations before you submit your return - eliminates math errors
      • Reduces data entry errors in processing your return
    • Secure:
      • Ensures security and confidentiality for all transactions

  4. How do I enroll in Internet filing

    Enroll using the online Enrollment/Authorization for e-Services. Choose one of the following filing/payment options.

    • If you will be paying by ACH-Debit, choose Internet File and Pay as your reporting method.
    • If you will be paying by ACH-Credit, choose Internet File Only as your reporting method.

    Note: Choosing Electronic Payment Only is not a correct option for Internet filing. For more information about EFT payment methods read the Electronic Payment FAQs.

  5. What computer hardware and software do I need for Internet filing

    You need only a computer with Internet access and a web browser (for example, Internet Explorer) with pop-ups disabled and JavaScript enabled.

  6. What are the minimum web browser requirements for Internet filing

    All of the Department's Internet filing applications are compatible with Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE), version 6.0 or above, 128 bit encryption.

    Macintosh systems are not compatible with the Departments Internet site, however users may download a separate browser such as Mozilla Firefox or Opera to access the Departments web site.

    The DOR Internet filing applications are not compatible with the America On-Line (AOL) browser. You may still use AOL to access the Internet, but you must then minimize AOL and open another web browser such as Internet Explorer.

  7. What if I normally file and pay electronically and my bank information changes

    Enter the new banking information when you file and pay online. For a permanent change to your record, you can update your information using the Update e-Services Profile option under Enroll for e-Services on the Departments web site. Any change to your profile will take approximately 2 business days for the change to become effective.

  8. Whom do I call if I have problems with the Internet filing applications

    • Call or visit your Local DOR Service Center, Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., local time.

    • Call the Department, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., ET.

      • For Unemployment Tax only, call 800-482-8293.

      • For all other taxes, call 800-352-3671.
