Alert!
Payments made electronically, that are to be paid by December 21, 2009 must be initiated no later than 5:00pm ET on Friday, December 18, 2009. The normal due date has been extended since the 20th falls on a Sunday.
Effective with the January of 2009 applied period, due February 20th, the Department of Revenue has migrated from desk top software to a web application. The web application will support licensed wholesalers/importers, petroleum carriers, exporters, and blenders/retailers of alternative fuel by providing a means to file and pay electronically.
Welcome to the Florida Department of Revenue information page for filing and paying your motor fuel taxes electronically. Florida law imposes a $5,000 penalty for failure to file electronically.
You must enroll for e-Services or update your user profile to include electronic filing. The Department will provide you a user ID and password during the enrollment process, which will allow you to access the web application within two business days.
For questions on importing schedule detail, contact the e-Services Help Desk by e-mailing e-Fueltech@dor.state.fl.us. Include the license type in your e-mail subject line.
For questions related to enrollment, tax law, filing errors, or completing your motor fuel tax return, call 800-352-3671. Call or visit your Local DOR Service Center, Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., local time.
