Governor Bush Appoints Seven to The Newly Created Council on Efficient Government
TALLAHASSEE – Governor Jeb Bush today announced the following appointments:
Council on Efficient Government (Senate confirmation required)
- Tom Lewis, Jr., 67, of Tallahassee, Secretary of the Department of Management Services, appointed as chair, for a term beginning August 23, 2006 and ending August 22, 2008.
- Charles Bronson, 56, of Tallahassee, Commissioner of the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, appointed for a term beginning August 23, 2006 and ending August 22, 2008.
- Lucy Hadi, 60, of Tallahassee, Secretary of the Department of Children and Families, appointed for a term beginning August 23, 2006 and ending August 22, 2008.
- James Zingale, 60, of Tallahassee, Executive Director of the Department of Revenue, appointed for a term beginning August 23, 2006 and ending August 22, 2008.
- William Johnson, 50, of Tampa, director for shared services, Coca-Cola Enterprises, Inc., appointed for a term beginning August 23, 2006 and ending August 22, 2008.
- David Clarke, 62, of Boca Raton, CEO of Rinker Materials Corporation, appointed for a term beginning August 23, 2006 and ending August 22, 2008.
- Ernest Spinner, 62, of Panama City, owner and president of BFB Enterprises, Inc., appointed for a term beginning August 23, 2006 and ending August 22, 2008.
