Requirements for Requesting Approval to Use Sale Qualification Code 41 - Other - The use of disqualification code 41 is for sales that meet the following three conditions: 1) no other disqualification codes apply; 2) attempts to verify the sale(s) were unsuccessful; and 3) the transaction(s) do not reasonably reflect the fair market value of the sold property. To use this code, prior approval from the Department is required.
General Spreadsheets for Counties to Use When Submitting Code 41 Requests - The Department has developed general spreadsheets (for both vacant and improved properties) showing some of the types of information that would be helpful for counties to use in reporting the characteristics of multiple and single sale transactions and other sales in the subject property group.

GIS Data Submission Requirements - Specify the layers and format for GIS data that counties are required to submit to the Department annually.
Edit Guide for GIS Data - Describes the review of county GIS data by the Department to ensure compliance with state requirements for cadastral mapping. The Guide is included within the Assessment Roll Edit Guide for NAL/SDF/NAP data files.
Letter of Intent for GIS Map Submissions (PDF) (DOC) - Counties having difficulty supplying the required GIS data must identify the reasons and send a written plan to the department. This form must be completed and returned to Tom Canter at cantert@dor.state.fl.us.
