Value Adjustment Board (VAB) Rule Development: Notices, Drafts of Forms, and Procedural Rules

Draft Rules

This "redline" draft of proposed Rule Chapter 12D-9, F.A.C., supersedes the version from late Friday afternoon (08/14/09). The only difference between the version below and the draft version from Friday is that the Department removed some of the language regarding who can serve as legal counsel to the Board. We will seek an Attorney General Opinion for further guidance on this issue, since the removed language does not conform to bulletins the Department has issued on this subject.

The redline draft displays all changes made to the version discussed at the August 4th workshop, so you can identify the changes more easily.

The Department has also posted the following documents below: 1) the coded text for proposed rules in Rule Chapter 12D-9 and Rule Section 12D-16.002, F.A.C., with all changes incorporated into them; 2) the proposed forms that support the proposed rules; 3) the Notices for both sets of rules for which we are asking the Governor and Cabinet's approval at their August 25th meeting to schedule a public meeting.
