TIP # 05B05-01
Department of Revenue Will Discontinue Mailing a List of Active and Cancelled Fuel Tax Licensees
Prior to July 1, 2005, the Department of Revenue was required to prepare and mail to terminal suppliers, importers, exporters and wholesalers a list of all terminal suppliers, importers, exporters, and wholesalers who hold active fuel licenses in the state and a list of licensees whose fuel licenses have been cancelled or inactivated. Beginning, July 1, 2005, the Department is no longer required to provide the prepared lists by mail. The lists will be provided instead through the Internet by entering www.myflorida.com/dor and clicking on the "Taxes" tab at the top of the Department's page; then by clicking on the "Fuel Tax" link, and by clicking on the "Active Fuel Licenses" link, or the "Cancelled/Inactive Fuel Licenses" link provided. Anyone unable to access the list via our website should contact the Department's Central Registration Fuel unit at 850-488-4772 for assistance.
